Is the computer that runs your car safe from viruses?
What happen with Toyota’s Cars made me think of all the new computer systems in new cars that use wiresless network . These computer systems control everthing ; gas, brakes, door looks, steering it called drive by wire , meaning a computer signal control brakes, steering and so on .
Well I did some research and found out that my fears were right, scientist were already worried about this issue.
Here is what worries me, the fact that sooner or later the hackers will find the vulnerability in the operating systems of on-board computers and … will definitely use it. (more…)
