A Sound Reaction: ‘Clumsy’ reggae singer to release Valentine’s song
Adam Parsons, also known as Captain Accident, is the frontman of reggae band Captain Accident and the Disasters.
He gained his stage name by being acknowledged by those who know him as ‘probaby the clumsiest ******* in existence’
When proposing to his now wife he nearly knocked her off a cliff. However he hopes to show her that he can get their first Valentine’s Day together right by releasing his first single – a love song – on Valentine’s weekend.
Fire Fire Fire will be launched this weekend, Sat 13 February in Cardiff with CDs and downloads on sale from 15 Feb. Fire Fire Fire is a taste of what you can expect from Captain Accident’s full-length album, which is planned for this summer.
Adam was formerly a member of ska heroes Chemical Reaction, and metal rockers My Little Murder, now he’s swapped the hardcore for the sweet middle of Captain Accident’s lilting reggae rhythms.
Captain Accident and the Disasters, have played with bands such as Sonic Boom Six and Dirty Revolution, also landing also a slot at the Greenman Festival last summer.
