GoDaddy redesigned less clutter

Godaddy- New page Design

Domain registrar GoDaddy has redesigned its web site making it easier to use. The design has simple navigation controls at the top, less clutter, and a new left panel that shows the user’s products. Upon your first visit to the redesigned site there’s a quick tour feature. The design carries over from the home page to the internal pages of the site including when customers log in. The domain manager, which allows users to make changes to their domains, has not changed.

At first blush the new design is a vast improvement over the old one. Some pages are still cluttered, and it would be nice if the site was more customized to the individual user when they logged in. For example, after logging in a lot of the screen real estate is taken up by a login box for webmail and calendar. If you don’t have these products, there’s no reason to take up so much real estate. I’m sure GoDaddy will continue to make changes over time.
