Kia Sportage owners higher trade-in values
BRAINTREE, MASS (08/17/2010)(readMedia)– Kia Sportage owners can look forward to higher trade-in values for the 2011 model, according to Automotive Lease Guide (ALG), the industry’s leading supplier of residual value analysis. This is the first time that Kia has captured a spot on the residual value award list.
ALG awarded the Sportage the highest residual value in the compact crossover utility vehicle class, projecting the CUV to retain 61% of its original value after 36 months on the road. The base-level Sportage was one of the top three vehicles in all classes, and is projected to hold on to 66% of its value after three years.

A new addition in Kia’s yard at the International Auto Show in New York is Kia KOUP. As the name says this is a coupe with very aggressive lines. The exterior design is very attractive with a great panoramic glass roof that extends down the rear, but I will let you be the judge of it.From the info I have there’s no certainty Kia KOUP will be produced, but if they do, it will have a twin-scroll turbocharged 2.0L Theta II engine GDI (Gasoline Direct Injection) that will output 290hp and 289 lb-ft of torque, a six speed automatic transmission and front wheels drive.
